2nd Job 2nd Chance is a project that Ananda executives and staff have jointly devised to support those affected by COVID-19 to have a second job and extra income.
The Covid issue is another event that can be called a disruption to our world.
It was an event that no one could have predicted, and no one, no business, no country had ever had experience in managing or solving this problem before. The advent of COVID caused widespread and continuous damage. In the beginning, everything almost had to come to a halt. Many businesses collapsed and could not get up. Later, many businesses had to close down.
The most severely affected businesses include airlines, tourism, and hotels. Although many countries have now opened for travel, domestic flights are open in our country, but international flights are still not. The hotel business mostly relies on domestic tourists, coupled with government measures to support domestic tourism, which may not be enough to sustain the business in the long term.
Because in Thailand, the airline, tourism and hotel businesses rely mainly on foreign tourists. If the situation continues, many businesses in this business group, including related businesses, will certainly run out of breath to continue moving forward.
Working people are another group of people who are very worrying.
The National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB) has predicted that the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak will increase the risk of layoffs in Thailand by around 8.4 million people. The groups at risk of layoffs include the tourism sector, which is expected to be affected by 2.5 million people out of a total workforce of 3.9 million people; the industrial sector, which is expected to be affected by 1.5 million people out of a total workforce of 5.9 million people; and the non-tourism service sector, which is expected to be affected by 4.8 million people out of a total workforce of 10.3 million people. The agricultural sector is expected to be affected by the drought by a total of 6 million people.
If the situation continues like this, what will workers have to do? How will they adapt to continue?
For working people
Full-time work that many people used to think was stable, the arrival of Covid has proven that this stability is no longer true. The turning point after this will probably be about self-development, increasing skills, increasing abilities in new areas to lead to having a side job or creating additional income to be a guarantee of income if in the future we have to come back to this kind of situation again.
For organizations
Many businesses may still be able to continue their business, but they need to reduce their employees’ salaries. They must urgently adjust to find ways to help their employees because they are losing income. If they continue to suffer, the organization will eventually be affected as well.
But there is one organization that has risen up to help workers and other organizations, especially the tourism sector, which has been severely affected by COVID this time.
Ananda Development Public Company Limited has launched the “2nd Job 2nd Chance” project . Mr. Ko Chanond Ruangkritya, Chief Executive Officer and President of Ananda Development Public Company Limited, said that Ananda is well aware that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a wide-ranging impact on both the economy and society, causing many businesses to stop or even temporarily cease operations, causing a large number of working people to suffer, lose their jobs, and lack income.

Ananda hopes to be a part in helping employees or people who have lost their jobs in the tourism business group. The “2nd Job 2nd Chance” project will create a second career, which is a career as a Property Consultant, which can be done as a side job without affecting the regular job. If in the future, the brothers and sisters who are unemployed now have a regular job in the future, they can continue to work as a Property Consultant Partner with Ananda.
Phi Rat Maneerat Thanatchaset, Managing Director of IDEO/IDEO MOBI, Ananda Development Public Company Limited, told us that
“Real estate” is a golden opportunity for investment during COVID, and it can also generate long-term profits.
Although real estate may be affected by Covid, it is not as severe as the tourism business. However, purchasing power is still available in the market. And buying during this period, the benefits are fully in the hands of consumers because this year, the prices of real estate are really the lowest. And this is an opportunity to be a Property Consultant Partner because Ananda has many good projects ready to move in and ready to sell that meet the needs of consumers to choose from.
Phi Rat also said that Ananda would like to take up the experience of being a sales consultant in the field of “real estate” and the good projects that we have to help our brothers and sisters to have a career and extra income, which is another way to generate income in this COVID era.
For the “2nd Job 2nd Chance” course , the admin was also honored by Ananda’s executives to help design the course for becoming a Property Consultant Partner (PCP). This entire course was derived from lessons learned from the success of Ananda’s real estate salespeople and designed into a course that is appropriate for those with no prior experience.

The “2nd Job 2nd Chance” course is a training course to become a real estate sales consultant.
The learning format will be online through 7 free courses (only for those selected based on occupations that are highly affected by the COVID situation) as follows:
Chapter 1 Introduction Overview of the Real Estate Market Direction
Chapter 2 Laws and ethics related to real estate by special lecturers, experts from Thammasat University
Chapter 3 Growth and Good Mindset is about creating a good work mindset for sustainable success in the real estate business.
Chapter 4 Personal Development Skill Increase and develop personal skills to create opportunities and success.
Chapter 5 Products and Services To understand the products and services related to the project, including project formats, designs, common areas, and other related matters.
Chapter 6 Sales Skill to be able to analyze customers, present and close sales.
Chapter 7 Basic Finance To understand financial information, investment in purchasing real estate, whether for personal use or investment, such as interest, inflation, future value, and rental, etc.

After completing the online course, there will be an internship workshop at a real project, with Ananda’s professional team teaching and giving advice throughout the course through ready-to-use projects near the electric train under the quality brands IDEO and IDEO MOBI. When all steps are completed, Ananda will appoint you as a Property Consultant Partner (PCP), which will be able to sell all Ananda real estate projects.

In addition, Ananda has developed the Property Consultant Partner (PCP) platform that allows all project participants to view ready-to-sell condominiums in real time. This is an online platform that effectively supports this work, with a team of professionals ready to provide advice and guidance to help new Property Consultant Partners (PCPs) learn to sell.

For this project, in the first generation, there were thousands of applicants, but more than a hundred were selected to study and were appointed as Property Consultant Partners (PCPs). Recently, Ananda has joined hands with Thai Air Asia and Thai Air Asia X to open this course for employees who are interested in becoming Property Consultant Partners (PCPs).

Thai AirAsia here “has a policy to promote employees to have additional jobs.” The executives here believe that anything that can help employees in times of crisis is something that should be done. Promoting them to be a Property Consultant Partner (PCP) is a good additional job. And the skills of being a PCP may be used in their regular jobs in the future.
And this is the story of another organization, Ananda, that has risen up to help working people or even other organizations to overcome this crisis.
Admin thinks that it is time for employees to dare to break out of the old-fashioned mindset. Regular work may no longer be stable. Or even the current job, even if it is not affected by COVID, does not mean that it will not be affected in the future.
For other organizations, it is not unusual for employees to seek additional jobs or have additional jobs. Now, this has become a necessity. It is another way to build immunity for the organization’s employees and the organization itself.
Try to open your mind, look for a company or organization that can be a partner, and try to start a good project that both employees and the organization can benefit from. In the future, if we have to face a crisis again, both employees and the organization will be able to get through it together.
